Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey @ GingerReadsLainey on YouTube and hosted by Sam @ ThoughtsOnTomes. Every Wednesday there is a new topic, and you list your top 5 related to the particular topic. This week topic is books you want to read before the end of the year. For more information on top 5 Wednesday and the Goodreads group click HERE.

This list is in no particular order.

1. This Song Will Save Your Life by Laila Sales

This is one of the books I put on my read in 2016 list in the beginning of this year, and I still haven´t read it. I should be ashamed. I got distracted by all the other shinny books. I do still want to read this book before the end of this year. I heard it is a great book! Someone, I don´t know who but someone recommended this book to me and it sounds great. It´s about a girl who has a hard time fitting in, and finding friends. until she stumbles upon a warehouse party where she finds people who accept her and discovers a love for DJing. I heard it is an emotional roller coaster so I have to be in the mood for this book.

2. Asking For It by Louise O´Neill

This book is also on my read in 2016 list. Last year I read some books about rape last year and this book was recommended to me by Goodreads because of that. This book focuses on rape and victim blaming which is in my opinion a very important topic. It´s a new release from last year and I heard great thing so I want to read this book before 2017.

3. Ship Breaker by Paolo bacigalupi

This book is on my TBR for years I really need to get to it. I think this is the year. I've been feeling like reading this book for the past weeks so I think I will get to it soon. I was intrigued by this dystopian world and I like that it is in a boy's perspective. I heard great things so I need to read it.

4. Avalon by Mindee Arnett

This book sounds great and I really like to get more into sci-fi. This is a book also from a boy's perspective and it is about a crew of teenagers who steal tech and spaceships. If that doesn't sound good I don't know what would. These past weeks I've been feeling like reading this book, Same as Ship Breaker. I really need to get to these books.

5. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

I saw the movie not long ago and I really liked it. It is the story of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen but with a twist. What if there was a zombie outbreak? How would the story go then? You don't have to wonder anymore because here it is. I'm technically cheating with this one because I just started this. While writing about it I decided that I shouldn't put it off. So that's why I'm sure I will read it this year :)
