Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey @ GingerReadsLainey on YouTube and hosted by Sam @ ThoughtsOnTomes. Every Wednesday there is a new topic, and you list your top 5 related to the particular topic. This weeks topic is goals for 2017. This could be for reading, bloging or personal goals. I already made a post of my reading resolutions/goals. You can find that here
1. Reading goal: Read at least 5 Tomes (books with more than 500 pages)
Last year I set a goal on pages read instead of an amount of books, because I noticed that I was only picking up small books and the big once remained on my shelves unread. I don't have a goal to read a certain amount of books or pages this year at all, but I still want to push myself to read those bigger books. I though 5 was an amount that wouldn’t put me under too much pressure.
2.
Reading goal: Read from the first 30 titles on my goodreads to-read shelf.
This
is a new goal that I came up with yesterday, so I will add it to my Goals/Resolution
post I made last week. My goal is to read the books that are the longest on
mine to-read shelf on goodreads. I’m allowed to have 10 to 15 of these books
left at the end of the year. So, if I don’t read 15 to 20 of these books I have
to remove them from this list. I just have to come to terms that I won’t read
them.
3
Personal goal: Stop saying sorry so much.
I
feel like more people have this goal. Personally I’ve been saying it so much
that my friends keep telling me to stop singing sorry. Of course I answer that
by saying “sorry that I say sorry so much.” That is going to change this year. I
want my sorrys to mean something. When you use it so much people think that you
don’t mean it when you say it. So I want to change this.
This
seems like an easy goal and I think most of the weeks this is not going to be a
problem. But in December I hardly posted anything. So I want to hold myself to
at least 1 post per week in 2017. Let’s see if I can keep this up in 2017.

Blogging goal: Continue writing reviews
I
used to write maybe 4 reviews per year. But since I started this blog I started
writing way more reviews. I want to keep this up. I still don’t want to
pressure myself to reviewing every book that I read, but I want to get to
reviewing most of them.
Those
are my goals. What are your goals for 2017?
